This sea kayak has been designed to perform in a class of its own with a new set of rules.
The bow has hard chines and middle line V which phase out towards the centre of the hull to form a flatter hull section which then goes in to softer chines at the rear. The inbuilt skeg goes all the way to the rear of the kayak to maximise waterline length and straight line speed. The kayak has a skeg fitted and easy to operate from the skeg slider.
Although this kayak has been primarily designed for Ocean Play it is capable of so much more. If you love exploring coastlines, going in and out of rocks and caves, catching waves and surfing then this is the right kayak for you. This is fast and indeed it’s a comfortable rocket, built for long distance travelling at speed. The design is based around balancing the streamlined hull with paddling dynamics. The net result from this comprehensive research and development program is a flowing hull design that smooths the progression of the paddle through the water.
